Important Notice

GetHonestValue is NOT a licensed real estate broker. We operate a technology platform that facilitates introductions between property sellers and verified cash investors. We do not provide real estate brokerage services, negotiate transactions, or offer investment advice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GetHonestValue platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our Service.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

2. Nature of Services

What We Provide:

  • A technology platform for property sellers to connect with investors
  • Tools for submitting property information
  • Communication facilitation between parties
  • Transaction coordination services
  • Document management tools

What We DO NOT Provide:

  • Real estate brokerage services
  • Property valuations or appraisals
  • Investment or financial advice
  • Legal or tax advice
  • Negotiation services
  • Guaranteed outcomes or specific results

3. User Obligations

As a user of our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information about your property
  • Have legal authority to sell the property you list
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent purposes
  • Respect the privacy and rights of other users
  • Not circumvent the platform to avoid paying fees

4. Fees and Payments

Our Fee Structure:

  • • Sellers: 100% FREE — no fees, no commissions
  • • Investors: $8,000 flat fee per successful acquisition
  • • No upfront fees or hidden charges

Fees are only due when a transaction successfully closes between parties introduced through our platform. Fees are non-refundable once a transaction closes.

5. Limited Offer System

Our platform operates on a limited offer system to protect investor margins and ensure quality interactions:

  • Maximum of 5 offers per property
  • First-come, first-served basis for offer submission
  • No competitive price escalation or auction format
  • Sellers see all offers transparently

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. By using our Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We comply with Massachusetts data protection law (201 CMR 17.00) and implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

Investment Risk Warning:

All real estate transactions involve risk. Property values can decrease. You may not receive offers at your asking price. We make no guarantees about outcomes.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • That your property will sell
  • Any specific offer amounts
  • The accuracy of investor-provided information
  • Continuous or error-free platform operation

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetHonestValue shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Fair Housing Compliance

GetHonestValue is committed to fair housing. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, military status, or source of income.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiation between parties
  2. Mediation in Massachusetts
  3. Binding arbitration under AAA rules if mediation fails

Note: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Massachusetts Consumer Protection Act (Chapter 93A).

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
